Friday Thoughts is a light-hearted commentary.
LAST YEAR, we had a fire in our kitchen and tornado hit our workshop. Chances are, most people will only have one of these events in a lifetime, so people can imagine my surprise when both happened in the same year.
Since both events could have been much worse, I still haven’t resolved if we were lucky or just unlucky because they happened. Either way, with our luck, I can hardly wait to see what will happen in 2008.
