Blood drive Thursday
Community Blood Center, provider of blood services to local hospitals, will conduct a blood drive from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday at a bus parked in the lot in front of the Medical Arts building, 1301 W. 12th Ave. According to the news release, the drive will “help local hospital patients in our area that depend on life saving blood donations.” The release also said that one donation can help as many as two local hospital patients.
