Scholarship
Kristina Martin of Hartford, a senior at Kansas State University studying agribusiness and accounting , was selected to be the recipient of the 2007-2008 William S. May Scholarship for Ag Finance. Martin is actively involved in the Frontier Farm Credit Student board of directors, Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honorary, the AgEcon/AgBusiness Club, Alpha Zeta Ag Honorary and Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honorary.
She works part time for the Arthur Capper Cooperative Center. After graduation, she plans to work in the agricultural accounting and finance industry. She and her family are affiliated with several local cooperatives, the LeRoy Co-op, Lyon Coffey Rural Electric and Dairy Farmers of America. She is the daughter of Roland and Rosemary Martin of Hartford.
