Reception for Berta Archdekin
Berta Archdekin will be observing her 80th birthday anniversary on Sunday, March 2, in the Atrium of the Emporia Presbyterian Manor from 2 to 4 p.m.
The reception will be hosted by her children, Brent Archdekin, Dale and Connie Archdekin, and Melinda and Grant Riles. She has eight grandchildren.
Berta is a retired Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority housemother at Emporia State University. Cards may also be sent to her at 2300 Industrial Road, Emporia, KS 66801. No gifts please.
Another birthday
The family of Patricia “Pat” Ward are having an 80th birthday celebration for Ward from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Horizon Plaza activity room, 1531 Wheeler St. Cake and punch will be served. They request no gifts.
