Injuries minor in I-35 accident

Danielle M. Oclair, 21, of Emporia, was taken to Newman Regional Health Sunday with possible injuries after a two-vehicle accident reported at 2:01 p.m. around Milepost 146.3 on Interstate 35.
According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, Oclair was driving a 2004 Neon north on I-35 when she attempted to pass a second vehicle and struck it on its left rear.
The second vehicle, a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu, was driven by Robert L. Wolford, 80, of Lyndon. He was not injured, nor was a passenger in the Chevy, Marillee Wolford, 79, of Lyndon.
All involved were wearing safety restraints, the report stated.
Oclair was treated and released from the hospital.
