Get scholarships
Hilary Larson and Chase Miller, students at Emporia High School, were awarded the Garvey Competitive Scholarships from Washburn University for the 2008-09 academic year. Each received $500.
On dean’s list
Gretchen I. Schreiber of Emporia was named to the 2007 spring semester dean’s list at the University of Minnesota. Students on the list achieved a grade point average of 3.66 or higher while taking 12 or more credits.
Fort Hays honor
Danielle M. Costello of Emporia was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll for the fall 2007 semester at Fort Hays State University. Students name have enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60 for the semester.
