Wednesday: drizzled scone or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: pizza or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: pancake stick or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: cheeseburger on a bun, fries, baby carrots and dip, mandarin oranges.
Tuesday: pizza, corn, strawberry-banana cup, clodhoppers.
Wednesday: crispito, nacho chips, cheese sauce, tossed salad, applesauce.
Thursday: turkey fritter, dinner roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots, peach half.
Friday: mini shrimp poppers, macaroni and cheese, green beans, orange smiles.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: sloppy joe, sicilian blend vegetables, seasoned potatoes, bun, peaches.
Tuesday: baked potatom with chicken and cheese sauce, scandanavian vegetables, bread, pears.
Wednesday: chicken-fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, wheat roll, cake and ice cream.
Thursday: polish sausage, cabbage, bean salad, bun, banana.
Friday: roast pork loin or fish, candied sweet potatoes, winter-blend vegetables, roll, apple-cranberry crisp.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: beef stew, pea and cheese salad, biscuit, pineapple sherbet.
Tuesday: chicken a la king, tossed salad, carrots, biscuits, fruit crisp.
Wednesday: pork roast, gravy, boiled potatoes, cooked cabbage, bread, peaches.
Thursday: barbecue chicken, baked potatoes, green beans, wheat roll, mixed fruit.
Friday: beef tips in gravy, rice, cauliflower, bread, watergate salad.
