LAWRENCE — Police on Sunday were investigating a shooting that left three people injured outside a private club that has been the scene of other shootings.
The Sunday shootings occurred about 3 a.m. in front of Last Call after a patron was thrown out of the club, police said.
The man went to a nearby parking lot and began firing shots into a crowd of people outside the club. He fled in a small dark-colored vehicle that was driven by another person.
When police arrived, people were fighting in front of the club and in a parking lot.
Police on Sunday did not release the conditions of the three shooting victims. Two were club employees. One was shot in the back, the other shot in the foot. The third victim, a 15-year-old boy from Topeka, also was shot in the foot.

So sad, but luckily no one was killed by this stupidity. What was a 15 year old (not even legal to drive by himself yet) doing outside a club in Lawrence at 3 am?!
