Applications wanted
Rebuilding Together, a local volunteer group, is taking applications from homeowners needing assistance in home repair or clean-up. Work can include, but is not limited to, painting, minor repairs and yardwork.
There is no cost to to homeowners for volunteers to help. The homeowner must occupy the home and qualify under low- to moderate-income guidelines.
Applications are available at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave., and the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce, 719 Commercial St. The deadline is Feb. 15.
