Deer Trail Implement, 1744 County Road F, will become PrairieLand Partners John Deere on Saturday as a result of a merger.
Richard Garber, general manager of the Emporia implement dealer, said Thursday afternoon that Deer Trail Implement, Conrady Western and Pankratz Implement are merging to form PrairieLand Partners.
“This will be a strong business set to meet the challenges of the future and provide greater service and more opportunities to customers and employees,” said Doug Neufeld, CEO of PrairieLand Partners. “PrairieLand Partners will serve all customer segments in Central Kansas with larger selections of equipment, greater access to parts inventory, increased technology support and the most qualified support available in the industry today.”
The new company will be one of the largest John Deere dealerships in the central U.S. region and have stores in McPherson, Marion, Emporia, Hutchinson, Anthony, Winfield and two locations in Wichita. A corporate support center will be located in Hutchinson.
