LAST SUMMER, our 16-year-old daughter, Taryn Morris, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
The outpouring of concern, support and prayers from family, friends, neighbors and even complete strangers has been astonishing. We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to the following people who have supported us during Taryn’s treatment:
Terry and Karen Rinehart; Brenda Barrows; the employees of Subway inside Walmart; Rashad Castaneda; Joyce Sweetman and the employees of Walmart Store 557; the employees of CoreFirst Bank & Trust; Julie Woodruff, Cortney Pearson and Bill Harder of Quizno’s; Shannon Schumann, Helen Hubert, Jeff and Melissa Demler, Bonnie Cannon, Norbert Tegtmeier, Elaine Whiteneck and the congregation of Messiah Lutheran Church; Amy Hayden, Zumba instructor at Emporia Fitness and to the organizers and contributors of Taryn’s benefit concert: Eric and Stacie Sonnakolb, Bob and Pam Schmidt, Karen Shaddix, Bobby D’s, Flint Hills Lanes, Carlos O’Kellys, CD Tradepost, Subway, CoreFirst Bank & Trust, Gambino’s Pizza, Planet Sub, Quizno’s, Printing Plus, High Gear Cyclery, Matt Slater/Josie’s Bar, Matt Kosinski/Flint Hills Music, Matt Lowery/ Pyramid Pizza, and the bands Ball Dozer, Kids Can Dream Out Loud, Dead Idols and Take the Forgotten.
These people have touched our lives forever. We are truly blessed to be a part of such a caring community.
