ESU men rally to beat Nebraska-Omaha

Final
Emporia State came back from a 10-point deficit at halftime to win 86-80 over Nebraska-Omaha on Wednesday night at White Auditorium.
Lamar Wilbern led five ESU players in double figures with 22 points and Wilbern had a double-double with 10 rebounds. Tim Niles made four 3-pointers, scored 16 points and had a team-high five assists.
Jeremiah Box and Adam Holthaus scored 14 apiece and Robert Moores added 12.
The Hornets improve to 4-1 in the MIAA and 10-2 overall, while the Mavericks fall to 2-2 in the MIAA.

Nebraska-Omaha leads Emporia State 44-34 at halftime at White Auditorium.
The Mavericks have built their lead by getting to the free throw line — making 15 of 17 — and taking advantage of a slow ESU start. The Mavs led 24-10 at one point.
The Hornets were able to climb back into the game thanks to Tim Niles 10 points off the bench. Lamar Wilbern has nine points, including a layup at the buzzer.
