Last day for U, X, Y and Z tags
Tuesday is the last day to renew vehicle registrations without penalty for people whose names begin with U, X, Y and Z according to an announcement from Lyon County Treasurer Dora Hartig.
Renewals may be done from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Hartig’s office at the Lyon County Courthouse, 430 Commercial St. Proof of insurance is needed for each vehicle.
Closed to the public
The Lyon County Courthouse will be closed to the public on Wednesday.
