Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: scalloped chicken, peas, bread, pineapple chunks.
Tuesday: spaghetti with meat sauce, winter-blend vegetables, Texas toast, cookie.
Wednesday: sliced turkey, dressing, gravy, green beans, wheat roll, pie.
Thursday: Christmas, closed.
Friday: Closed.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: creamed chicken with vegetables over biscuits, fruit cocktail.
Tuesday: pot roast with gravy, boiled potatoes, carrots, bread, fluffy fruit salad.
Wednesday: brunch with sausage gravy, biscuits, tater triangles, V-8 juice, peach cup.
Thursday: Christmas, closed.
Friday: Closed.
