Christmas music
Family Radio KPOR, 90.7 FM, will broadcast several seasonal music shows next week as part of “Christmas 2008” programming.
Programming will include short inspirational features and Christmas cantatas by renown choirs.
“Christmas Evensong,” a program of traditional carols and sacred classical music, will air weekdays at 5:30 p.m. through Friday.
On Tuesday, “Christmas with the National Christian Choir” will play at 10 a.m.
“The Majesty and Glory of Christmas” will be featured at 10 a.m. on Thursday, with a “Canticle of Christmas” following at 1 p.m. and “Night of Miracles” at 10 p.m.
“O Holy Night” will air on Christmas Day at 10 a.m. “Magnificat” will be broadcast at 1 p.m. and “If Christ Had Not Come Today” at 5:30 p.m.
KPOR will feature its traditional broadcast of George Frideric Handel’s oratorio, “Messiah,” at 8 p.m.
