ESU women remain in top 10

The Emporia State women are No. 9 in this week’s ESPN/USA Today/WBCA Top 25. It is the 103rd week that ESU has been in the top 10 since 1997-98, the most weeks in the top 10 of any active NCAA Division II school.
The Lady Hornets have been ranked in 148 polls since first appearing in the 1997-98 Preseason Poll and have received votes in 158 of 162 polls in that time.
The Lady Hornets are 8-1 overall and 3-0 in the MIAA. They have won 14 consecutive games in White Auditorium, the third-longest home court winning streak in school history. The Lady Hornets will wrap-up nonconference action on Saturday night when they play host to Harris-Stowe. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
