Who won the awards for best entries in the Christmas parade this year?

Four entries went home with top awards, according to Jessica Leeds, public relations coordinator for the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce.

The winners were:

Parade Marshal Award — Flinthills Mall.

Parade Committee Award — Sacred Heart School PTO.

Chamber Award — Emporia Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics.

Mayor’s Award — Camp Alexander.
