Monday: Little Piggy or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: sausage biscuit with jelly or cereal and graham cookie.
Wednesday: powdered funnel cake or cereal and graham cookie.
Thursday: burrito or cereal and graham cookie.
Friday: oatmeal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookie.
LUNCH
Monday: hot ham and cheese on a bun, tater tots, fresh broccoli with dip, pineapple tidbits.
Tuesday: chicken parmesan, cheesy potatoes, garlic biscuit, green beans, orange smiles.
Wednesday: chicken fajita, soft tortilla, Mexican rice, tossed salad, applesauce.
Thursday: country steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, dinner roll, pear half.
Friday: Bosco sticks, marinara sauce, tossed salad, tropical fruit, cake.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk, lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: ham and beans, stewed tomatoes, cornbread, apricots.
Tuesday: polish sausage, bun, cabbage, three-bean salad, pears.
Wednesday: meatloaf, baked potato, Carribean-blend vegetables, wheat roll, brownie.
Thursday: pasta bake, green beans, pickled beets, Texas toast, gelatin with fruit.
Friday: baken potato with chicken and cheese sauce, mixed vegetables, bread, peaches.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: chicken-fried steak, hash brown casserole, peas, bread, blushing pears.
Tuesday: goulash, carrots, V-8 juice, fruited muffin.
Wednesday: ham and beans, cornbread, tossed salad, fruited pudding.
Thursday: lemon-baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, braised cabbage, bread, apricots.
Friday: No meals served at Americus or Allen.
