The Neosho Rapids Community Projects group meets at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the First United Methodist church basement at Neosho Rapids. Final plans will be made for the Supper with Santa. For more information, call Bettina at (620) 366-1015.
Neosho Rapids Lions Club is sponsoring a Christmas decoration contest for anyone within three miles of Neosho Rapids. Anyone living outside the city limits who wants decorations judged should call Dorothy, 342-4313. The winner will be annouced at 6 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Neosho Rapids Community Center. Cash prizes will be awarded.
The city of Neosho Rapids Community Projects committee is sponsoring a Secret Santa contest. Ask anyone in the Neosho Rapids area "Are you the Neosho Rapids Secret Santa?" You could be the winner of a $50 gift. The winner will be announced at Supper with Santa on Dec. 13 in the Neosho Rapids Community Center.
The dinner runs from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 13. Menu includes sloppy joes or hot dogs, chips, dessert and drink for $3.
