Lyon County commissioners had several items on the agenda Wednesday morning during their weekly study session.
Commissioners discussed the repair and replacement of the fire alarm panel in the dispatch center in the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office. Richard Old, Lyon County undersheriff, said it will cost $3,500 to repair and replace the fire alarm panel. The cost includes the purchase of a re-furbished panel.
“It is much cheaper for a re-built board,” Old said.
The other board will be sent in to be repaired and will be kept on hand as a back up.
In other business:
• Commissioners discussed appointing Olpe resident Marie Kuhlman to the Lyon County Council on Aging Board.
