Leadership Emporia
The 2008 Leadership Emporia class has been announced by the Emporia Area Chamber and Visitors Bureau.

Friday is the last day to renew vehicle registrations without penalty for people whose last names begin with the letters M, N or O, according to an announcement from Lyon County Treasurer Dora Hartig.
People renewing registrations must bring proof of insurance for all vehicles being renewed.
Motor Vehicle division office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
