County commission
The Lyon County Commission will meet for a study session starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Lyon County Commission chambers of the Lyon County Courthouse. Commissioners will:
• Discuss the quote of Midwest Striping Inc. of Grand Island, Neb., to paint strip asphalt roads at $12.95 a gallon, which includes paint, beads and application for an estimated cost of $32,375.
• Discuss road closing north of Roads 350 and K.
• Consider adoption of Flint Hills Community Health Center’s 2009 proposed holiday schedule.
• Discuss proclaiming every fourth Monday of every September as Family Day.
• Discuss appointing Marie Kuhlman to Lyon County Council on Aging Board.
• Discuss Ken Barrows attending Kansas Department of Transportation annual meeting.
