THE EMPORIA Municipal Band has ended a great season of concerts in the park. We had some outstanding players and music selections.
The band needs to raise funds for next summer. The foundation goal is $200,000 — for which the interest will be used to help fund the band concerts. The band is non-profit. Donations can be sent to the Lyon County State Bank or the Emporia Community Foundation, Box 1337, Emporia, KS 66801. Any other donation can be made to the band’s general fund.
