JUST RECENTLY, I found myself in a dilemma.

I had to have major surgery, but should I have it done here at our local hospital or should I elect to go out of town?

I wouldn’t have considered any other hospital except Emporia if it hadn’t been for a few articles in our local paper.

After pondering this over in my mind, I put my faith in our local hospital and doctors and I’m glad that I did.

I owe a big thanks to a very fine surgeon, Tom Hicks, and all the nurses from the RNs to the nurses aides for their professional care.
