Thursday: burrito or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: Little Piggy or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Wednesday: chicken fajita, soft tortilla, Mexican rice, tossed salad, applesauce.
Thursday: country streak, dinner roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, pear half.
Friday: chicken parmesan, macaroni and cheese, garlic biscuits, green beans, orange smiles.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk, lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Wednesday: chicken-fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, wheat roll, cake and ice cream.
Thursday: chicken-fried steak, potatoes au gratin, stewed tomatoes, bread, peaches.
Friday: turkey tetrazzini, Brussels sprouts, wheat bread, sliced apples.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Wednesday: spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad, garlic bread, fruited pudding.
Thursday: chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, Italian-blend vegetables, peaches.
Friday: cook’s choice.
