Hartford City Council
The City of Hartford meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in City Hall.
The agenda includes reports from mayor and committees: discussion of steps needed to complete the process and dates of when to expect implementation of the 1 percent sales tax; water and sewer report by maintenance supervisor Dan Fagan; report by Mayor Roy Black and council member Rufus Hobbs on Municipal Leadership Academy course presented in Yates Center; presentation of claims and warrants by city clerk Donna J. Kuhn; financial statement by treasurer Bernice Fagan; old business: progress on water improvement project, Jones Park playground equipment installation; new business: approval has been received from Kansas Department of Commerce for release of funds, information about area east of Hartford used for camping, citizens presentations, miscellaneous.
