Monday: cereal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: little smokies and Texas toast with jelly or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: frosted long john and mozzarella cheese stick or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: pizza or cereal and graham crackers.
Friday: pancake on a stick or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: chicken patty on a bun, fries, baby carrots and dip, mandarin oranges.
Tuesday: new Max wrap, tossed salad, strawberries, pudding.
Wednesday: burrito, nacho chips, cheese sauce, tossed salad, applesauce.
Thursday: chicken nuggets, dinner roll, cheesy potatoes, corn, peach half.
Friday: spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic French bread, green beans, banana.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk, lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: pork roast, candied sweet potatoes, peas, wheat roll, peaches and cherries.
Tuesday: scalloped chicken, carrots, California-blend vegetables, muffic, pineapple pudding.
Wednesday: hamburger, bun, potato salad, sliced tomato, fruited gelatin.
Thursday: pasta bake, winter-blend vegetables, cherries, Texas toast, cheesecake.
Friday: Polish sausage, cabbage, carrot-raisin salad, bun, cookie.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: Salisbury steak, boiled potatoes, corn with green pepper, wheat roll, mixed fruit.
Tuesday: chef salad, bread sticks, fresh fruit.
Wednesday: goulash, green beans, bread, strawberries, cake with frosting.
Thursday: roast beef, potatoes, vegetables, wheat roll, watermelon.
Friday: turkey a la king, Scandinavian-blend vegetables, biscuit, creamy orange salad.
