Supports Mast

I have known Peggy Mast for a number years and I can say without hesitation that her greatest strengths are her sincerity and honesty. As a legislator, those values are refreshing and desirable.
Although I don’t always agree with the way she votes on a particular issue, I never doubted for a minute that her vote wasn’t reasoned and informed. Peggy serves on various important committees, including the not so glamorous Legislative Post Audit Committee. This little-known committee performs a vital function for the Legislature. I’m sure that her selection to that committee was due to her thoroughness and integrity.
Please support Peggy in her efforts to represent us, not only in August, but also in November.

That sound that you heard, TheWatcher, was Peggy Mast going Past on her way back to Topeka. (Are you going to have new names for your posts in the General election?)

I would hope that she draws more than 876 votes in the general or she will be in the past as last.

Mrs. Strickland got 346 votes, so I'm not sure that I would suggest that Mrs. Mast got few votes when she had over twice the number that Mrs. Strickland had, and Mrs. Strickland was unopposed.

TheWatcher: You didn't answer. Are you going to have new names for your posters in the General Election?

Why should I change my name? I am Robert McCall. And what name does the jaystalker go by?

Hey, guys, let's not try to guess identities.
As for voter turnout... remember that, except for the sales tax question, the only contested race to draw Lyon County Democrats to the polls was Slattery vs. Jones. That may not have been enough incentive.
I would hesitate to compare Carol Strickland's 346 votes to Peggy Mast's 1,812 total votes.

This is true on comparing votes, personally I did not feel the need to vote "for" someone running unopposed, I only voted for the candidates that were running against someone.....I'm sure I was not the only one!
