Attention in North Carolina
Former Emporian Stephen Protheroe was interviewed in the Montgomery Herald, a North Carolina newspaper. The article was a feature on a business that moved to Star, N.C., from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. The business, Wet Dog Glass at STARWorks, manufactures furnaces and control equipment for glass-blowing operations.
Protheroe, 26, describes himself in the article as a “part-time artist” who has moved to the engineering and technology side of the industry.
