Tyson meeting
An attorney will be in town Saturday to talk with displaced Tyson workers about possible legal action against the company. The meeting, sponsored by Displaced Tyson Workers Fighting for Justice and the Center for a New Community will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 2 Neosho St.

The May Day Meeting of the Santa Fe Trail Republican Women of North Lyon County will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Allen Senior Center, 423 Main St. in Allen.
Alicia Salisbury, Kansas National Committee Woman from Topeka, will be the speaker. Salisbury will bring greetings from the Republican Women National Committee and information regarding the RNC Convention from Sept. 1 to 4 in Minneapolis, Minn.

Hartford meeting
The Hartford Harvest Day committee meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the small Hartford community building.
