Main Street offers taste of Emporia

Emporia Main Street’s annual Taste event is right around the corner and promises something to delight the palate and senses.
There will be tasting of California wines and Boulevard and Tallgrass breweries. There also will be light horsd’ oeuvres from Amanda’s, Sweet Granada, Wheat State Pizza, Bobby D’s, Bad Ol’ Bern’s and Madelynn’s.
Jack’s Tobacco will be on hand with cigars of all types.
The event will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. April 25 at the W.L. White Auditorium. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. A party pavilion will be set up in the center of the room with plenty of room for seating and room for dancing.

Money raised at the event will go toward Emporia Main Street programming such as the Great American Market, Block Party, Live in the Lot, Christmas carriage rides, Kris Kringle Kids Shop, downtown cleanups and the Taste.
