The Emporia State men's basketball team announced Thursday that it had signed four players to play for the Hornets next season.
Jeremiah Box, a 6-foot-5 guard, Tim Niles, a 5-9 guard, Shang Ping, a 6-10 forward, and Lamar Wilbern, a 6-1 guard, all will join the program, which lost six seniors off last season's squad.
All four are transfers to ESU, with the headliner being Ping, who joins the Hornets after spending the past season at the University of Nebraska.
Box will join the team from Sauk Valley (Ill.) Community College, Niles will transfer from the College of Dupage and Wilbern will join the team from Hamilton College (Neb.).
