Mason recognition

Americus Masonic Lodge 109 will present 25- and 50-year pins at 2 p.m. Sunday, after which there will be a reception.

Hartford city council

The City of Hartford meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall.

The agenda include citizens presentations; reports from mayor and committees about dates set for the annual city-wide cleanup and animal vaccinations at Jones Park and an update on progress with 1 percent sales tax; presentation of claims and warrants, financial statement; new business which includes a proclamation by the mayor designating the month of April as Fair Housing Month, McGuire’s Mobile Home park water meter, generator for new community center, miscellaneous.
