Clinic contract let

Markowitz Builders has been chosen as the contractor for the dental clinic expansion at the Flint Hills Community Health Center.
The expansion, which will essentially double the number of patients the clinic can see, is scheduled to be completed by the end of July. Two bids were received, both for $172,000. Lougene Marsh, executive director of the health center, said Markowitz was chosen because of the projected speed of completion.
“We wanted it done earlier,” Marsh said.
