Honoring the intellect

Emporia State University will hold its annual Research and Creativity Forum at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Memorial Union ballroom. The forum will highlight intellectual discovery, featuring “posters displaying research and scholarly work and the presentation of various awards,” according to a news release.
Awards will be presented beginning at 3:15 p.m. Gary Holcomb, associate professor of English, will receive the President’s Award for Research and Creativity and will also serve as the keynote speaker.
