Emporia High golf places 4th at Manhattan

The Emporia High boys golf team finished fourth at the Manhattan Invitational on Monday.
The Spartans finished just six strokes out of second place, as EHS carded a team score of 319 to finish behind third-place Hutchinson (315) and second-place Washburn Rural (313). Manhattan won the team title with a score of 304.
Individually, Bren Fisher led the way, tying for the low round with Manhattan’s Ben Lowman with a 73. Fisher finished second after Lowman took the playoff.
