Cottonwood Falls City Council
Four members of the Cottonwood Falls community are on the agenda to speak as visitors to the city council when it meets at 7 p.m. today at the city building.
Ron Scott will talk about spring clean-up; Kevin Ireland, River Suite; John Queen, the Yeager property; and Mike Swartz, R-3 Energy.
Other items on the agenda include reports on city crew activity, a dangerous structure ordinance and zoning changes, pool repair, a printer for the city office, trailers on Mulberry Street, a school donation, lawn mowers, and job applications.
The council again will discuss striping on Broadway Street, a county chipper, and again chipsealing streets done last year.
Osage City school board
Republishing the district budget will be considered by the Osage City board of education as a preface to its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the district office.
Agenda items for the regularly scheduled meeting include old business — a facility update, career-vocational program, Osage County Neighborhood Revitalization, legislative update, SIG goals and a corrective reading program — and new business, including insurance, SIG summer professional development, an employee recognition breakfast and reports on the Three Lakes cooperative, site council, and recreation.
Executive sessions are scheduled to discuss personnel matters regarding non-elected personnel and preliminary discussions regarding acquiring real estate.
