More help needed

I JUST WANTED to state how honored I am to be associated with the Peter Pan Playground Project. I feel passionately that the impact of this project will be felt for generations.
Emporia has so many good things going for it, but the best thing about this community has always been the people. I am confident that her people will step up and help because we need volunteers to make this dream come alive.
We need both skilled and unskilled labor, childcare volunteers, food servers, “gophers” and more. There is absolutely nothing that somebody can’t do to be a part of this great project. Construction will start on Wednesday, April 30th and continue through the weekend of May 4th.
Yes, it has taken a long time to get to where we are now (building at the end of THIS month), but anything worth having of value is worth striving for.
I am so proud of the city of Emporia, every business, civic organization, student organization and especially for individual citizens for stepping up, whether it was through a financial donation and/or your precious time. Thank you.
If you want to get involved it is not too late. Please call Robin Nelson at 342-1600.
