The Chase County Leader-News reported that the Strong City City Council met on Monday, Sept. 17, to discuss the proposal by Tommy Butter to purchase the t-ball field in Strong City.
Butter said earlier that he wanted to convert the ball field into a go-cart track.
The council agreed they did not want to re-zone the area and discussed city-owned FEMA property as an alternative. The discussion was tabled until the planning commission could be consulted.
