“Fair Tax Act of 2007 — Replacement of Income Tax with a Sales Tax” will be presented by Charles Cusic, community coordinator for Americans For Fair Taxation from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday in the large meeting room at the Emporia Public Library, 110 E. Family history conference
“Discovering and Preserving the Past for the Future” is the theme of a free family history conference to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Topeka Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2401 S.W. Kingsrow Road. Admire PTO gets an A
The Admire PTO group was selected to receive an honorable mention for the 2007 Parent Group of the Year Award from the National PTO Magazine. Admire was one of three schools in Kansas to receive the award.
