CORRECTIONS
WRONG AMOUNT
The Emporia school district will release teacher Janet McAfee from her contract upon payment of $1,380. The amount was incorrect in a story published on Thursday. The contract between the district and certified staff sets down protocols for such situations. McAfee requested release so she could move to another area with her husband.
