Todd Family

Descendants of Roberts and Margaret Middlemast Todd gathered Oct. 7, 2007, at the Community Building in Gridley for the 53rd annual Todd reunion. Don and Arlene Wilson Roberts of Hartford were the hosts for the year’s gathering. The reunion reporter said, “the afternoon was spent enjoying a delicious covered dish dinner, reminiscing and sharing childhood stories.”

Gifts were presented to the youngest; a stuffed toy was given to Charlotte Holland of Overland Park. The oldest person present, Mary Margaret Smith of Rose Hill, was given stationery; the family traveling the longest distance, from Wichita, were Cameron and Abigail Dies (Smith’s grandson), who were given a jelly serving set.

Others attending were Kim, Elizabeth, Emily and Maggie Holland of Overland Park; Sherry and Joey O’Trimble of Perry; Gwen Wellnitz of Neosho Rapids; Dick and Carole Wilson, John Roberts, Leah Roberts, Dean and Eula Wilson, Viola Wilson, Tammy Wilson, Teresa Wilson, Mike, Amy, Jessica, Michael and Mikayla, all of Hartford; Terry, Dorothy, Bev Wilson, Anita, Wayne, Hollee, Autumn and Summer Kirchner, all of Burlington; Debbie Davis of Emporia; and Maria Wilson, Darrel and Wilma Hess, Jonathan Hess and Johnnie and Retha Sleezer, all of Gridley.

The Darrell and Wilma Hess family will be hosts for the 54th Todd reunion, to be held Oct. 5, 2008, at the same location.

Family and group reunion reports may be sent to The Emporia Gazette, Drawer C, Emporia, KS 66801; e-mailed to newsroom@emporiagazette.com; or faxed to 342-8108.
