Halloween is next week and a fun family activity is going to the Roga Pumpkin patch. We like to let our girls pick out their own jack-o-lantern.
At the patch you can walk the fields to find the perfect pumpkin. Unfortunately there is one problem at the patch. Some of their pumpkins are as big as boulders.
Despite my best efforts to direct my girls away from the gigantic jack-o-lanterns the girls spotted them and became fixated on taking one home.
Knowing that I couldn’t move them I quickly had to invoke a new rule. — You can only take home a pumpkin that weighs as much as you.
Since we got back from the pumpkin patch I have noticed the girls eating a lot more. I wonder if they are trying to pack on pounds in hope of bringing home gigantic jack-o-lantern next year?
