A College Planning Conference will be held this month for high school students and their parents in Emporia and the surrounding area.
The conference will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, in the commons area at Emporia High School. It is sponsored by the Kansas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.
Students and parents will be able to talk with representatives from public and private colleges, universities and technical schools about academic programs, financial assistance, student life and athletics.
