“Immigration: Human Aspects” will be the second topic in a three-part series of immigration forums co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the Emporia Public Library. A group of immigrants will discuss their experiences. Emporia State University professor Ellen Hansen will be the moderator.
The forums are free and open to the public.
Emporia State University professor Ellen Hansen will be the speaker, along with a panel of local immigrants.
The forum will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Emporia Public Library.
The last forum of the series, Immigration: Economic and Social Impact, presented by economics professor Rob Catlett of ESU, will be Nov. 14.
