NEOSHO RAPIDS — It’s nearly time to get out the Halloween costumes and hit the streets for Halloween. But before that, Neosho Rapids is offering an event to get people in the mood.
The Neosho Rapids Lions Club will hold its annual Haunted House on Oct. 19, 20, 26 and 27. The evenings start at 6 p.m. with concessions at the Neosho Rapids Community Center. Following concessions, the hayrack rides to the haunted house start around 8 p.m.
Cost of tickets are $7 a person. A $1 discount will be given if a canned food donation is brought to the event.
Directions to the community building: Take Interstate 35 to 141. Turn south and go three miles and cross the railroad tracks. Turn west after the tracks. Go to the stop sign, turn south. This road will go directly to the community center.
