Students of Emporia State University have been invited to attend a relationship-building program facilitated by “The Dating Doctor,” David Coleman, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11.
Coleman has been honored by Campus Activities Magazine and the National Association for Campus Activities. He is a speaker, entertainer, master of ceremonies, author, leadership trainer, retreat facilitator and radio and television personality.
His program, “Making Relationships Matter,” teaches how to create and maintain healthy relationships.
“From the events of Sept. 11, 2001 and the devastation from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, we learned that our lives and relationships are precious and fragile and that they can be forever altered in the blink of an eye,” Coleman said.
Coleman’s program promises to teach participants to be more courageous, valuable, respectful and thankful, and how to discern healthy vs. unhealthy relationships.
The program is being brought to campus by Emporia State’s Union Activities Council and will be held in Webb Lecture Hall in the Memorial Union on campus.
