The Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative will have a free screening clinic, “Count Your Kids In,” on Oct. 12 at the Mary Herbert Education Center, 1700 W. Seventh Ave.
Professional personnel from the cooperative will screen and assess individuals, from birth to 21 years of age, in the areas of physical development, vision, hearing, language development, behavior and coordination.
The staff will assist in identifying special needs the child may have and help in finding services to meet those needs.
