Library news
The Hartford Library hours are 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Tuesday is story hour for pre-schoolers at 9:30. This week will be about shapes.
School news
• Today — junior high basketball with Southern Coffey County at Gridley, 5 p.m.
• Thursday — Hartford High School basketball starts with the Lebo Invitational Basketball Tournament at Lebo. All varsity games will be played in the main gym and all junior varsity games will be played in the second gym. Varsity girls and junior varsity boys, 7 p.m.; 8:30 varsity boys and junior varsity girls, 8:30 p.m.; all games against Lebo.
• Friday — Varsity girls and junior varsity boys, 4 p.m.; varsity boys and junior varsity girls, 5:30 p.m.; all games against Mission Valley.
• Saturday — Varsity girls and junior varsity boys, 2 p.m.; varsity boys and junior varsity girls, 3:30 p.m.; all games against White City.
• Dec. 4 — home basketball opens against Flinthills at Hartford.
