Art sale

The ESU Student Art Sale of glass, ceramics, photography, prints and drawings will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 29 and 30 at the Memorial Union Main Street. Sponsors are the ESU Glass Guild and Alpha Rho Theta.

Ensemble concert

The ESU Department of Music will close the fall 2007 season with the Amphion Ensemble Concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Heath Recital Hall of Beach Music Hall; the Brass Choir and Wind Ensemble Concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Albert Taylor Hall of Plumb Hall; and the A Cappella Choir, Community Chorus and Orchestra performing Handel’s “Messiah” at 3 p.m. Dec. 2 at in Albert Taylor Hall. General admission is $5; student and senior citizens, $4. Information: 341-5431.

Art gifts

The Emporia Arts Council 10th annual “Art Gifts” at 618 Mechanic St., is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday through Dec. 29. More than 50 local and regional artists will have artworks for sale.
